Playing a set at Creekside Cellars

Live Music

Music performed in person transports an attentive listener to an emotional place from the past, or feelings in the moment. Playing for an audience is always energizing. A familiar song touches someone’s memories, “Where were you when you heard that song?” Or of love gained or lost. I’ve played many gigs in many, settings: park concerts, college stages, parties, bars, restaurants, banquets, coffee houses, bookstores, and festivals My standing gig for 18-years has been Creekside Cellars, a restaurant/winery located along the lovely setting of Bear Creek in Evergreen, Colorado. The food and wine delight all, and the staff serves with warmth and care. It’s been a good fit. Covid has prevented live music over the past year, but thankfully, Creekside continues to serve. I look forward to returning with my songs for the people I love. A number of questions are commonly asked about my music and you can see them and my responses by clicking the button.

Albums

Sharing music by recording albums provides a contrast to live performances. Song arrangements are often changed in the recording process. Additional instruments can be added, or deleted. Mistakes can be corrected. A single track can be laid down in one session, or over a period of many hours. I choose songs I love for an album, songs I feel belong together. As a solo musician, there are limitations, but also freedom of style. My repertoire includes ballads, show tunes, jazz, contemporary folk, pop, and original compositions. The albums have been recorded by my dear friends, John and Steve, at their world-class FTM Studio in Denver. Their expertise and care are second to none. I am pleased to present all my music for free listening and downloads. Just click the album you would like to hear.
